Surface Camera

Terms of Use

Surface is licensed through Apple’s App Store and built for lawful photography.

Effective September 6, 2026

License

By downloading and using Surface Camera, you receive a non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store Terms of Service.

Apple’s standard EULA

Unless a separate written agreement applies, Surface is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, including its rules for license scope, warranty, maintenance, and liability.

Acceptable use

Use Surface lawfully and respect the rights, privacy, and safety of other people. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except where applicable law or Apple’s terms permit it.

Purchases and subscriptions

Surface offers a lifetime purchase and monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscriptions. Prices, billing periods, and any introductory offer are shown in the App Store purchase sheet before you confirm. Subscriptions renew unless canceled through Apple. Apple handles billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and purchase restoration through your App Store account. You can manage subscriptions in iPhone Settings under your Apple Account.

Your photographs

Your photographs are yours. Surface stores captures in your Apple Photos library and does not upload them to a Surface service or claim ownership of them.

Availability and results

Camera capabilities vary by iPhone model, active lens, iOS version, lighting, permissions, storage, and Apple system behavior. Surface is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We work to keep it reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Changes

These terms may change as Surface changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
